The months of January and February usually have the worst weather of the year. Just imagine what it is like to spend this period in a mild climate which will often be warm enough to have a barbecue at lunchtime! You can go for a stroll without an overcoat and scarf! You can't expect summer temperatures here, but you are unlikely to need your heating - or your thermals!
This tour has a duration of about 2 months and allows participants to stay at 3 different sites in southern Spain and Portugal. You still have the comfort of knowing the GB Privilege tour director is around to help iron out any minor problems which can arise, while having a lot of free time to explore at your leisure. We include a group meal every week to help make new friends and also some excursions to places of interest.
We will book the Dover/Calais ferry, and if Brittany Ferries decide to operate their Portsmouth/Santander ferry at this time, we will offer this as an optional extra. Our tour director will use the Dover/Calais ferry and tour participants will be able to follow him. Tour participants who choose the Portsmouith/Santander ferry will have the opportunity to meet the main group at our first Spanish campsite in the Basque region of Spain.
Excursion to Sagres
The campsites used are of a good standard and include 220 volt hook-up. The sites have restaurants and shops.

They boast some private cubicles in the "facilities" area, security, supermarket, restaurant and cafeteria, safe deposit boxes, laundry, swimming pool etc. etc. This evening we will have a group dinner with wine in the campsite's own restaurant. |
