1. RESERVATIONS
To book your GB Privilege holiday simply complete the booking form giving
the information required and accepting these booking terms and conditions
on behalf of your party. Send the completed form together with the relevant
booking deposit to:
GB Privilege Ltd., 3, The Fields, Tacolneston, Norfolk NR16 1DG
If you are paying by credit card the deposit will be debited upon
receipt of the booking form. If you are paying by any other means, your
deposit should accompany the booking form.
2. BALANCE OF PAYMENT
The final invoice will be sent to you 8 weeks before the holiday is
due to start. Your payment must be paid not later than 6 weeks prior
to departure. If you are paying by credit card this will be debited
on the appropriate date. If payment has not been received by the due
date we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the client
and apply cancellation charges as shown below.
3. CANCELLATION
You may cancel your booking at any time provided that the person signing
the booking form makes the cancellation in writing to GB Privilege Ltd.
We may retain your deposit and in addition may apply the following cancellation
charges:- Period before scheduled departure when written instructions
received by GB Privilege Ltd.

Whilst we reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time this
will only be for reasons beyond our control or failure on your part
to observe the booking terms and conditions. In the unlikely circumstances
that we are unable to provide the holiday as booked we will refund your
money in full or offer you an alternative holiday of comparable or greater
standard. In the event of having to cancel the holiday GB Privilege
Ltd.'s liability is limited to the value of the holiday as booked and
the Company cannot be held liable for any consequential or other loss.
4. AMENDMENTS
Although it is extremely unlikely, circumstances may occur whereby we
have to make changes to the holiday as advertised and we reserve the
right to make such changes. Weather, road conditions or forest fires,
for example, may force a change in the itinerary. If such circumstances
do occur you will be notified as soon as possible and if the changes
are of a major nature and are not attributable to circumstances of Force
Majeure you will he given the choice of accepting the changes, cancelling
the holiday with full refund or changing to another holiday with GB
Privilege Ltd.
5. FORCE MAJEURE
In the unlikely event that your holiday is cancelled or interrupted
by circumstances beyond our control which include, but are not limited
too, war, riot, civil disturbance, natural disaster, terrorist activity,
unpredictable weather conditions, fire etc. GB Privilege Ltd? cannot
be held liable to the cost of the holiday booked.
6. DRIVING LICENCES, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All drivers must carry with them a current driver's licence that is
valid in the countries in which the holiday takes place. Please ensure
that the licence details of all those intending to drive are correctly
entered on the booking form, (A full U.K. drivers licence held for at
least one year or an international licence are both normally valid)
No refunds will be given if the holiday is aborted due to non?compliance
with driving regulation. Our office can advise you if you are in doubt
but it is the responsibility of each individual to ensure they have
the correct travel documents and permits.
7. COMPLAINTS
In the unlikely event of you having a problem during your holiday please
inform your Tour Director who will do his best to put things right immediately.
If a complaint cannot be resolved locally your Tour Director will ask
you to include your complaint in the report form and he will ensure
that it is sent to our headquarters. Please follow this up by writing
to our customer service department within 42 days stating your booking
reference and the nature of your complaint.
8. PETS
Domestic pets can now be taken to many countries that we visit. It is
your own responsibility to ensure that your pet has the necessary documentation
to enter the countries being visited and to comply with re-entry regulations.
9. TRAVEL INSURANCE
The purpose of this condition is to ensure that our clients are adequately
protected and have a worry free holiday. GB Privilege Ltd. has a legal
liability to draw your attention to the need for travel insurance. It
is a condition of booking with GB Privilege Ltd. that each client carry
travel insurance to include the following:
Holiday Cancellation
Medical insurance £1,000,000 minimum (including repatriation)
Liability insurance £1,000,000 minimum
We also recommend that your cover include holiday interruption/cancellation
and personal accident. Please note that should you expect to indulge
in certain dangerous activities, these may not be covered by standard
travel insurance. GB Privilege Ltd. cannot be held liable in the event
of any claim arising out of events beyond their control, as a result
of optional activities run by others or as a result of clients indulging
in activities which were not part of the original booking. Should an
accident or injury occur whilst you are on holiday your Tour Director
will take prompt action without checking on your insurance. For this
reason we therefore require a copy of your insurance cover on payment
of the holiday balance. Failure to provide proof of adequate travel
insurance may result in the cancellation of the holiday on the same
terms as cancellation by the client.
GB Privilege Ltd. can offer insurance which covers cancellation as
well as the necessary medical and travel cover, at competitive rates,
e.g.:
Europe, up to 8 days £14.73 per person
Europe, up to 24 days £21.42 per person
10. DISCLAIMER
Certain elements of the holiday are beyond our control and the Company
cannot be held liable for failure or non?performance by others, cancellation
of activities through weather conditions or Force Majeure etc. Should
the Tour Director, at his sole discretion, alter the route or make any
changes whatever because he considers there may be a danger to person
or properly then his decision is binding and cannot result in a claim
against the Company. The Tour Director is an experienced traveller in
the type of area you will be visiting and will use his knowledge to
the best of his ability to ensure that you have a pleasurable and safe
holiday. However, there are factors beyond his control and his opinion
that an area or activity is safe is an opinion only and is not a guarantee.
11. OUR PRICE GUARANTEE
Whilst we reserve the right to change the prices shown in our brochure
at any time, we guarantee that the price of the holiday shown on your
invoice will not be increased or subject to surcharge (unless as a result
of government legislation) once you have paid your deposit.
NB Please read paragraph 9 regarding insurance and particularly the
cancellation aspect which is necessary to safeguard deposits and balance
payments in the event of the need to cancel due to illness or family
circumstances beyond your control.
